Pivoting after a Decade of Leading...

Ten years ago, I stood at a green building convention in Cape Town, feeling a familiar sense of curiosity tugging at me.
At the time, I was working in financing affordable housing—helping bring more dignity to how people live.
It was meaningful work, but I could feel something was missing.
That “something” was the environmental piece—how buildings impact the planet as much as the people inside them.
That one spark of insight set me on a journey that would shape the next decade of my life.
I soon found myself stepping into a regional leadership role across Africa—guiding the growth of an innovative green building program that’s now certified over 12 million square meters of buildings and supported over US$1.7 billion in sustainable investments.
As a woman navigating leadership in a male-dominated industry, I didn’t just want to be part of the change—I wanted to lead differently.
Not by pushing harder.
But by leading with vision, clarity, compassion, and soul.
This is how I’ve come to define leadership—not as a title, but as a way of being.
And now, after 10 years of building something powerful, I’ve officially closed that chapter.
Just a few weeks ago, I was honored at a Ten Years of Impact celebration in Cape Town—where over 250 people from around the world gathered to reflect on the legacy of this work.
Colleagues, clients, certifiers, consultants, developers, donors and financiers—many of whom I’ve collaborated with over the years, some of whom became friends—came together to recognise the impact of a program I had the privilege to pioneer and lead across the African region.
It was moving.
It was humbling.
And it felt like the perfect way to close a chapter—in my city, surrounded by a global community from Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America.
With a full heart and deep gratitude, I’m now making space for what’s next.
Because while the work I’ve done in climate and sustainability continues to matter, I know I’m being called into a new realm of impact:
Women’s leadership.
Specifically, helping visionary women rise into leadership that is aligned, embodied, and unapologetically powerful.
I’ve quietly been building a new space—She Leads & Flourishes—and it’s time to share it with you.
This new chapter blends everything I’ve lived and learned:
The inner work of transformation.
The outer work of leadership.
And the power of showing up as your fullest, truest self.
Whether you found me through soulful business circles or a whisper of curiosity from a social media ad—you’re in the right place.
And I’m so excited to walk this next chapter with you.
Together, may we lead—and flourish.
